Superhawk Derivative - Laverda 750 Twin

Imitation, they say, is the sincerest form of flattery. Perhaps doubly so when the Italians imitate the Japanese.

The mid-seventies Laverda 750 Twin (foreground) followed the Superhawk forms quite accurately, particularly on the motor.

CB72/77 Backbone Type Frame

Note that on the Laverda the motor also acts as the front carrying member for the backbone-only frame construction, just like on the original CB72/77.

Even in the later Laverda (background) the elements common to those of the sixties era motors can be traced. Anyone have a good Road Test on these Laverdas?
