I am not 100% sure if this information is accurate, but this bike may be a 1960 progenitor of the CB72 and the CB77 bikes of 1961 - 1967. The side covers and the fuel tank are of a different design than on the production bikes, however the brakes are of the large (dual shoes) design, whereas the early production Superhawks and Scramblers had the smaller, single-shoe versions. If anyone out there has more info on this bike, please let me know.
