66-67 CL77 Scrambler Gas Tanks
Did Honda build some late model 66 & 67 305 Scrambler seamless gas tanks without fuel line cross over lines or are these aftermarket tanks, and if so, how does fuel balance or level off in tank? Is anyone familiar with this issue?

The short answer is "I don't know." However they did this with the late CB72/77 models so probably the answer is "yes".
Re: 66-67 CL77 Scrambler Gas Tanks
Thank you, but I'm curious as to how the fuel level balanced without a crossover line. Did it depend on motion and vibration?
Thanks, Ted

That's my guess. It would be easy enough to test by clamping off the crossover line and see what happens.
I can think only that it was a cost saving measure but by the time they redesigned and produced the parts then added them to the parts system the saving must have been meagre to say the least.
