rotor removal

try a 16 mm. x 1.5 mm thread pitch bolt. On my Super Hawk, there was no bolt on the bike that would fit that hole. I used the bolt, threaded it down till it contacted the shaft solidly, gave it a sharp rap with a hammer, and it came off easily. Might be hard to find that size bolt at the corner hard...

This bike is going to grow on you more than you can imagine. You will find yourself making the flimsiest excuses to ride it: like going out to get the paper in the morning (which is in the box 50 feet from the front door and making a 20 mile trip of it.) Really good job on this bike: congratulations...

Just a thought: have you checked/lubed the throttle cables and the assembly the the handlebar ? (this is a shot in the dark, but been there once. If bike hasnt run for a long time could be a possibility.)

I just bought a CL side cover with the same thing in mind. Gentleman I bought it from was of the opinion it could be done, and would work, with a couple of caveats.
