Cold exhaust means that side isn't firing. You must be running on one cylinder. It will sound even better when fireing on both :)

I wouldn't leave anything primer. Primer will not protect the metal like paint will. I would paint both sides.

Ohio Cycle $30. Check to see if it ships with electrolite, the one I got didn't. It was only a few bucks to get it filled at a local battery supplier.
