Re: new scrambler project,, I'm backok, I know I should Know the answer to this but it has been such a long time. While adjusting the carbs I found a cup of oil under the right crank seal. Can I get that seal replaced without pulling the engine. Rusty

Re: Ignition switch locationMy recent cl77 had the ignition switch moved to a plate mounted to the handle bar mount. I only wish I had taken a pic of it as I did move it back to the correct location. Oh well, that's hind sight for ya. Rusty
Re: new scrambler project,, I'm backIt is really fun to be back and fun to be wrenching on a scrambler again. Almost ready to fire the latest one off and bring her back from the dead. When I do I will start a new restoration thread to log the progress. Will post lots of pics. Rusty
Re: how does oil filter come apart?I use a brass drift down through the shaft hole from engine side. Tap on the inside of the lid one side then the other and it will come out usually slowly but they do come out that way. Any drift softer than steel (plastic, wood, brass) should do the job. Just do not want to bugger up the shaft hole...
