Hi there, just curious if anyone knows if this coil will work for a CA77? The seller isn't sure if this coil is for a points based ignition or a CDI type ignition. I'm assuming you pulled the plug on the bad side and checked that the plug IS firing?

What are you going to do about the glass? I've used lexan before and worked out well.

Unless they're falling apart I'd reuse them.
With mine, I cleaned them with soap and water, then wiped all the soap residue off with a paper towl soaked with rubbing alcohol, then soaked them with a silicon type rubber treatment like armorall or something like that for a while.

I'll report back (not necessarily right here though) to report how they fit up.
