In the top pictures, those Buco bag holders/brackets are pretty collectible. Don't loose them. Seat looks comfy unlike mine which feels like a piece of vinyl on top of a hay bale :)

Yamaha 1970 CS3

Big group here with some diverse interests!

I've got a line on a restorable Yamaha 1970 CS3 200cc which is a 2-stroke and a pre-dates the Yamaha RD. Anybody have a line on a good forum, or better yet, have any feel for the collect-ability or parts availability of this fella?

I agree, rock the cylinders slightly. Use a small wooden dowel as a long finger and go very slowly. I broke one the first time through as I did not have the patience I acquired during the final rebuild. If you can grow, borrow or steal a 2nd set of hands it will go better. Steve

haha, these problems always make you mad as hell when you have them, so frustrating. But when you finally solve your 'problem' it always puts a nice smile on the face.
