It's often the obvious and not the exotic

Just wanted to share a little on an issue I've had all year. Symptom #1 The '63 CA78 ran very well last year but this year it seemed to get progressively more difficult to start. Choke, no choke, air screw, nothing seemed to make much of a difference. It would idle very high and stay there for 20 mi...

Your clutch cable might just be a little bit to tight. Maybe needs to be just a tiny but looser. Next time it does see if loosening the cable a bit causes the kicker to work again. I loosened the adjuster at the perch up to 4 turns, but no difference. It engages at first and then the 2nd or 3rd kic...

Kickstart no longer engaging (most of the time)

Hopefully, you guys can head me in the right direction... When the bike's cold, I can usually start it fine with the kick starter. Lately, when I put my foot into the task it feels similar to when you try to kick it over with the clutch pulled in, but perhaps just a little more resistance. About 4/5...

I've got originals on my bags and they are plastic. I went with the LED's as well, but they are not as bright as I'd like. I may have to experiment a little more. It's was fun drilling a hole in that middle bolt to run the wire!
