Re: New CL77 project

Beautiful job.

Do you use rattle can for paint? If not, what do you recommend for painting tools? I have CL72 I need to finish. Did you re-chrome pipes? They look new. How did you wire up the regulator-rectifier?

Re: C95 project

What a beautiful job. I had a C95 - Honda Benley Touring, in High School. It was very reliable and did everything asked of it. Bought it at age 15 and upgraded to a scrambler at age 17.

Your work is very impressive.

Re: Regulator / rectifier

Seadog emailed me with his suggestion for how to wire a Kohler regulator/rectifier for a CB: Caveat: I have not worked on a CL, but can only assume that the wiring is the same as the CB. You will need to abandon your 3 connections from the generator/stator to the wiring harness and wire the three wi...

Re: 1964 CL72 Clutch will not engage.

I did not understand how the Clutch works. The thickness of the clutch pack does not affect engagement or disengagement from the perspective of my problem. The movement of the "Clutch Lifter Joint Piece" permits the plates to separate. Making the clutch pack thicker does not affect when the clutch d...
