If all your electrical components (and the wiring) are good you should be able to ride all day, or all night, on your CB77 with the Headlight ON. I have a '64 CB77 and a '65 CL77 and ride both regularly, for safety reasons always with the lights ON. Eighty to one hundred miles a day is commonplace ...

John's been testing the bike and most everything looks great. New rings seated just fine, compression is at 185 and 190 respectively, and it's pretty much ready to go. The bike is all back together and all seems fine (he did manage to get the piston direction situation figured out). John took it for a ride and experienced a bit of clutch slippage, so he's adjusted the clutch a bit and is going to test it out again. Hopefully that's a minor blip. I spoke with Bill ...
