I powder coated my frame/panel parts. Then all chrome was painted a silver color. As for the powdercoated on an old bike you will run into some issues. Body filler. You will have dings, large scratches and possible some cracks laying under your current paint. Powdercoat will be 100x harder to remove...

Mine goes to a green wire. Further than that I honestly dont remember. Google CA77 wiring diagram and it will be on there. Color coded and all.

Sorry been off the site for a bit. Yes to all the above. Motor ended up needing to be bored .75 over and exhaust valves were bad. Should have all the new jazz in Monday for the machine so hopefully get to put it back together weekend after next.

You rebuilt the carb? Compression test?

I had this same issue and having to rebuild the motor thanks to low compression. Before all that I had rebuilt the carb but turns out the jets in the kits are incorrect so gonna have to redo that on mine.
