I will check my parts stash of speedos this weekend and see if any of them survived me messing with them.

The wire part which is probably what Gman is talking about is bad. I had to take apart 3 or 4 bad units to make a single good unit when I did mine. 2 of them were all wrapped up like that then the other two were flat spirals which created a spring like tension.

I don't remember the counts but 250 and 305 dreams had different rear sprockets. When building mine I considered having one made also but ended up just getting a stock style aftermarket from Ohio cycle

I had the most trouble with the really long one on the left cover. Think it cost me $20 just for it and was made for some car haha.

I just plugged mine using poly caps which I use on cars mostly till I get around to replacing with bolts.

The black plug on mine had to be pushed out from the inside. Couldnt get it out form the outside
