Frame

Well i know its been a while but I finally got hold of a frame with numbers that are easily readable. No log book but I can get a dating certificate from honda so shouldn't be a problem.
Off to Stafford this weekend on the look out for various 'bits and bobs'.

Cb72 forks

Thanks G-man I will see what's about at Stafford show. Distorting the tubes was a concern and the expensive of restoring them overall. I like the shorter mudguard but didn't like the jubilee clips. Thanks for the advise.

Cb72 fork swap

Can anyone tell me if there are any forks that will swap directly into my 65 cb72 yolks and will use the original wheel. Mine had a plastic front mudguard held on by jubilee clips. Or should I restor my forks and weld some lugs on to mount the mudguard properly.
This is a race bike not original.

Sorry for late reply been busy with other stuff so not had time to get the bike running yet. The wheels are back rebuilt new tyres etc and temporarily back in the bike. Just need to flush out fuel tank then bump her off. Can't see any reason why it shouldn't run though.
