I have sold 2 sets of Scrambler cables to people doing this same conversion. CL bars on the CB. The Scrambler cables work just fine.

I have sold many sets of the 3.50-16 Heidenau tires for use on Dreams. I also have a set on my Dream. They fit good and look good. In my opinion you can't really ride a Dream in a way that out performs the tires on it. You are looking for tires that look good and wear good. http://www.scramblercycle...

If I can't get them out with an hammer hit impact driver and a good fitting bit I usually use a 1/8" drill bit and drill in until I think I am below the head. Then I use a 1/4" bit and drill until the head pops off. Once the cover is off you can usually unscrew what is left of the screw quite easily.
