The first to second problem as several places. The Sift drum at the shoplifter end has a slot with a HIGH POINT in the MIDDLE. If the point wears down or the ROLLER wears this will cause a lack of mobility to allow the fork to move through. The FORK ENDS also ware.. ......................lm Thanks....

Thanks. What about the back side of shift drum from where it wears against the plate. ?Guess I need to source a new plate if I want to eliminate the wear there.

Curious if wear in the shift drum setting plate can cause shifting issues at all?All the ones I have seen on motors I tore down had wear on them to sum degree.I may tear into my motor again this year to see why shifter locks up when trying to get into 2nd gear from 1st after a stop.Not sure if the d...

My shift drum is not worn on the points in the channel where the rollers ride.So if not that then the forks would be my best bet to replace would they not?Not sure what else could actually lock the shifter rock solid?Can forks be rebuilt or built up again or does someone have new ones out there stil...

Any images of a new fork?I know when I split the cases in an attempt to find the problem I checked the rollers and they did not jump out to me as being worn or damaged to badly.The shift drum seemed ok and no chips or unusual marks .Forks were worn on the face.Only those were a question mark to me.W...

Any photos available that may show when a fork or drum and or roller is worn too much so I know what I am looking for.
