Case closed,
my Superhawk is a 1966 according to the wiring harness.

I will start another thread about bringing it back to life soon...just got to figure out how to post pic's!

Thanks all.
Derek.

. WOW, you do very nice work indeed G. ! My only worry is that, yes, it starts and may run (...for a period of time) and then "KABANG". This happened to a friend's bike he found (he did not look inside), it did run ok for a good while but eventually, yes, "KABANG" . After sitting, you get spots, etc...

Great find! The front fender seems to have been shortened a little but the bike looks in wonderful shape. Just wipe it over, change the oil, clean the filter and you are away. Very nice indeed.G Here some pics.. Is that advisable to do after sitting for 44yrs. and where it sat ?? ...unless it was s...

Seadog wrote:$550 for a complete bike, even a non-runner, sounds good to me. I’d go for it. Mine with a frame number a few thousand earlier has a 1966 harness tag.
Thanks for the input on your frame number...that just reassures me that my CB77-10429xx is a 1966.

Re: Looking at buying a restore project

Hi everyone, thanks for allowing me to join this great forum! I’m looking for a little advice; ......... The seller advertised it as a 1960 but from what I can see it’s a 66 or newer. The serial number is CB77–1045713. Does anyone know how to determine the actual year? Any other advice? Good price?...
