Since my last post in this thread Ive moved to Maine and had to put the honda on hold. But this weekend I was able to pull it out and install the replacement key switch and it fired up!! Now to keep it running with a carb rebuild and hopefully will have her on the road in a couple weeks:) Thanks to ...

"hot wire" a CA77 without ignition switch?

How would I go about hot wiring a ca77 with a non functioning ignition switch? I may just by pas it if possible and use a switch of some sort? Thanks for any help!

LOOKS GREAT!! Have FUN with it! Mine is about the same condition as yours. I just put new tires on it as the ones on it were the originals. Got her to actually run for a couple seconds today! Need to figure out this leak from the petcock. Defiantly has some issues with the ignition switch as well, But there is hope:)
