Re: Buco Twinmaster Saddle Bag Mounting

Thank you Dan, that is correct set up for a Dream, nice to know that they do exist. I have found one mounting bracket (where the bag pins go through and turn into place) and fabricated one of the down braces that has the bent bar that snaps into the bottom of the bag that I was missing. The pin brac...

Re: Buco Twinmaster Saddle Bag Mounting

Thank you Michael, that would be greatly appreciated. The mounting system I have is for a BMW I believe, it has rounded hoops that the bag brackets bolt too, It is also missing one piece, the long bracket that has the bar that snaps into the bottom of the bag (#2 in the attachment) and there are no ...

One More CL77

There is something about these high pipe bikes that keep pulling me back in. I drove from Virginia to the bowels of Tennessee to pick this project up a few days ago. The last three bikes I have done have been 750k's and I must admit it is nice to have a twin back into the fold to breath life back in...

Re: Fat Right Side

Here is what I can tell you from my fun time in the garage, the carbs do not like the longer skinny needles, even with setting in the bottom slot with a bigger main there was still fuel starvation. I also installed an old float needle and bowl in the right side, and a lot of the richness disappeared...

Re: Fat Right Side

Condensers are a thing of the past, I am running a Charlies Place electronic ignition. I have checked compression with my cheapo Horrible Freight gauge, 150 on both barrels. Checked resistance on coils and plug wires, spot on, good clean spark when kicked over so I am pretty sure it is a fuel proble...
