Re: Hello & my new to me 1965 CA77

Kyle, Welcome to the Honda305 Forum! The best way to start with bikes is from the smallest and then up a bit each time. That was how my own journey progressed - and one I recommend. Looks to me you are going about it the right way. Enjoy the process and the romance of the vintage motorbikes! -- Mich...

Re: C72 from France

Great to see you diving in, Sky Fred! From the couple of glimpses at your garage and your method, I think the bike is in good hands!

Geoff, I'd love to see the following three photos of how your fender/frame repair progressed.

Congratulations Bill !!!

What a great day - that first real ride!!!

I've observed everyone becoming happy and intrigued at the site of these bikes and you can look forward to lots of questions, stories and admiration.

Cheers!

Re: C72 from France

Welcome to the honda305 Forum!

What a nice looking bike! Looking from the US side of the ocean, any Honda from that period with factory turn signals (and the split seats) looks even more like an exotic rarity. I look forward to following your C72 journey!

Re: Broken Float Tang

This is probably best replaced with another carb.

Fixing would be my first inclination too, but I just don't see how this tiny piece of corroded aluminum can be fixed practically and reliably.
