I got 2 22201-268-020 plates from my local honda dealer. I would have gotten a whole set but they only were able to locate 2. They looked identical to the ones in there and were the exact same size. The only 2 plates that were warped were the first 2 in the clutch and the metal plates were fine. Wit...

Got some time to work on the bike today, tank is now cleaned up, adjusted timing, valves and put in new plugs. Its started up quickly but would not run well. Put a timing light, got timing fine tuned and it idles very smooth now, only time will tell if it pulls ok. Got the warped friction plates rep...

No the mustang is My Fiancee's , it's a 66 as well and makes a nice background for the bike. I just get to maintain and fix the car.

I do not think he rode it ever, in reality no one in my family ever recalls seeing it before. He loved to tinker with things so I imagine he just picked it up to fix it, which would explain why it has some newer parts on it. I spent the last few days cleaning it up and putting a few things back together. I think its pretty complete, some stuff looks newer than 40 years so I think some work has been done on it more recently. Tank had about a inch of varnish in it, not a drop of rust though.
