There should only be paint on the two side covers on the engine and you could use paint stripper or just sand it off. thanks joe...well the engine itself-head and block were previuosly painted when i bought the bike, so it looks kinda nasty now that its chipped and tarnished... i'm trying to stay a...

Removing old engine paint

Hey guys, can anyone give me advice on how to remove old paint from the engine? The old paint is chipped and discolored and just looks ugly to me.

Is there a way besides sandblasting?

Maloy, the badge looks great. You do realize that Honda still sells the tin badges like the one you've customized? There is also a gentleman selling plastic repros for $50 a set, including new screws and shipping. The plastic ones are the correct replacemnts for your dream. davomoto thanks for the ...
