Yes, it was a temporary thing and has been working fine after a couple of days. I was getting paranoid for a while as this site was under attack by bots, the Suzuki two stroke site was down, and I was having problems with the sohc4 site as well! I've meant to follow up on this but things seems to keep getting in the way... Finally...in a fit of despair.... I dug through my tote filed with the cast off parts from the Dream.... at the bottom of the tote wrapped in a plastic bag...... My old <original> clutch basket and plates..... So...yes......

Well there you have it, always told it was a Dream … Sh!! just ordered the Dream CD Shop manual LOL .. oh well, will do some new research. It sure looks like a dream .. Where is the serial number on the frame usually located at? Not sure about the Benley's but on the 305 Dreams it's on the left sid...
