Cb350 K4 Tank Badge Removal

Hi Just acquired a CB350 K4 imported from the US and the tank needs painting so any tips on how to remove and replace the badges ? The parts list shows 2 things described as "Nut RR" ( 87311-634-600 ) per side and they look to have "ears" that maybe snap into the badges but I can't be sure. If its a...

CRs at Dijon

Some shots of a CR77 seen at Coupes Moto Legendes, Dijon in France last month. The info said it was the ex Dave Simmonds bike. Dave was a British racer who went on to give Kawasaki their first World Title in 1969 when he won the 125cc crown. Sadly he was killed in a Paddock accident in France in 197...

Thanks Graham and Randy - I've left the main jets at #100 for now and will see how it goes. I guess my question is more theoretical than anything else. I can see justification for both theories but don't know enough about current carb "science" to figure out which is correct. Most of the online "car...

Carb Theory - Big Bore Kits and Jetting

Hi I've almost finished running in a CB72 fitted with the Rocky +3mm overbore pistons and the next step will be to fine tune the carburation particularly at 3/4 to full throttle. The carbs are the standard 22mm items and currently have #100 main jets. My initial thoughts were that with a 10% increas...

I'm running the jets specified in the Honda Shop Manual on my CB72 :- Power Jet = #160 and Pilot Air Jet = #90 Will see about taking a picture. I'm not aware of Honda ever fitting any different sizes but perhaps someone else does ? Perhaps whoever had the carbs just put various loose jets in the hol...

Going back to the YouTube link provided, has anyone found it available on DVD ?
More user friendly than 2 hours online.

Sprockets Unlimited will also do branded cam chain with a split link; off the top of my head can't remember which company it was. As Teazer says different companies produce 219 chain but with their own pin diameters, side plate thicknesses etc., so best to get chain and split link ( + spare ? ) toge...
