G-man, Yes you are correct the blanks would have to be bored and cut off in a lathe. I was thinking about how to speed up production after the blanks where done. It would be so much fun to set up production on something like this.I hope to have a shop of my own some day.

G-man, You got me thinkin about how to make the sprockets. Tell me if I'm wrong but don't you have to drill the radius first for the chain rollers to ride in.If so two machines would be of help and two ways to index the sprocket in order to be able to make a quantity. G man, A dividing head would be a necessity especially making sprockets. since it would take several operations to make a finished part.
