If the coil is hot even with the ignition switched off then either two wires are shorted together somewhere or more lkely the rectifier is shot. Replace it with a modern solid state device, regulator/rectifiers are as cheap as chips and possibly even better than just replacing the rectifier. The coi...

Thanks for posting this, the first time I've seen the jetting details for the PW22 so called CYB (-810) 'race kit' carbs.

I knew they were basically the same carb as used on the road bike just jetted differently, now I know the differences. Thanks again.

Geoff,

The wing itself is white with the raised 'feathers' chromed, the surround is black. The raised 'Honda' lettering plus the raised circumference of the badge is also chromed. I have (hopefully) attached an image, if it doesn't go through with the message I'll P.M. you.

If the stator is still working OK you should be able to fix it. The coils are basically held in place by two thin steel tabs bent outwards over the coils, Try tapping these back into place Gently to see if this helps, You could also fix them in place using a thin epoxy resin mix poured into the spac...
