Success, through a friend I was able to find a left air cleaner cover with knob. Thanks to all who posted links which will be useful in the future.

Lost the knob on the left side cover on the road. If some one has one for sale or knows where to purchase one...

Mine is a custom build though IMHO polish is the way to present the restoration.

I have one on my 66' CL77. Though it's kick start only, I have had great service with it for 2 years. I exercise her about 50 miles a week, the battery always stays charged.
