That's gonna take some hammering. Because of the tight creases, you will need to have some type of "pick" hammer, and it's going to take some force. Go slow and move around to work the entire area back into shape gradually. I would take it off the bike and work from the backside while supporting it ...

I am trying to get parts for my recently acquired 305, hen's teeth come to mind, however CA95 parts look similar , the dealers are unwilling/ unable to confirm whether the parts eg speedo will fit a CA78. I would try heating the cylinder with a torch. It's amazing what heat will do. It's the temperature differential between the parts that does the work. I had a seized bolt on a part that I though may have red locktite on it, so I popped it in the oven at 400 to see if it would free up. No luck. Chewe...

Did you get an engine and most of the parts also?

Looks like the rear fender and maybe the front part of the front fender was "bobbed" back in the day.

Often the engine will say "CA77E...." and the frame will say "CA78....."

Look for a vertical stamping on the left side of the frame, in front of and below the swingarm pivot.
