Hi, I thought that the front sprocket looked a bit big, at 17T it's as big as you can go without the chain fouling the crankcases! However, teamed with a 32 rear the overall gearing isn't that tall so the motor should cope OK. Looking at your engine rebuild pictures the top end looks pretty standar...

Progress to date

I haven't posted for sometime, but here is a few pics of my progress to date. Slowly coming together.

New electronic ignition fitted. Need to get some bits and bats re-chromed, but you can see her coming together.

Hi Alan...hope all is well? Not got around to the plug yet..I'm still waiting on a part for the lathe to be fixed...hope to get it back next week, so I'll have a go at it then.
