Re: 305 VS 150 DREAM

Almost nothing is the same, even the drive is on the opposite side, the headlight is about 1/4” smaller. 305 on the left and the c95 on the right.

Re: C72 from France

The rust on the frame is a real pain, I would get it shot blasted to show any other areas of concern, my C95 was really bad, right on the verge of not being repairable.

Re: C72 from France

If you look on the wiring loom under the tank there is a small label that has a date on it. It will be within a year of manufacture. The engine and frame numbers can sometimes be misleading and don’t expect them to match like some manufacturers do.

Re: C72 from France

The bike looks very nice and complete, good silencers will be difficult to find and expensive if you do find any. CMSNL in the Netherlands is a good source of parts but again quite expensive. You obviously paid attention at school as your English is excellent.

Re: Bill's CB77 Retirement Project

I used short silencers on my CA77, they worked well except after a long run the chain guard and back wheel was covered in oily soot. Probably proved my bike was running a bit rich!

Re: Bill's CB77 Retirement Project

Really nice job,
I also liked your YouTube video, I always promise myself I’ll do a video diary on my next project but find I’ve half dismantled the bike before I remember the video.

Re: Labor rate?

Any decision on the viability of buying and selling restorations, I’d be interested in your conclusions.
