Big bore

Hello Greg If the liners are still fairly thick then they are most likely replacements as the STD ones are very thin at 63/64mm bores. ( would you believe the liners in the four cylinders in the photo are all different ), From the photos it looks like the pistons are modified ones from another model...

Top gear

Hello Everybody

Re. previous picture, well spotted Greg, lucky I posted a picture. I think that is a C72 top gear I had not bothered to check as it was in with CB stuff ! ( and got the bush for the wrong end )
Anyway hopefully these will be what you need.

Big bore

Hello Everyone With CB350 pistons you also have to change the valve pockets as they are a different angle / position ( not sure if you need this with a std. road cam? ) and shorten the skirt as the stroke is longer on the 72/77. For racing they ( and the head ) need quite a bit of work to get enough...

Gearbox damage

Hello Greg From the picture it looks like it has possibly been welded up then ground back to shape ? Hardly worth putting it back in if you are going to put some miles on it. Unless you are in a rush to get it rebuilt. I don't have the experience with these gearboxes that some of the other forum mem...

Cafe Racers / Donnington

Hello Malcolm/Graham, that's the third year I have been and still have not made it to the club hall yet. We had two race bikes with us ( unfortunately neither CB72/77 based ), with them and all the race bikes to look at the time seems to pass very quickly ! ( apparently I do a lot of talking as well...
