It depends on whether you're talking about the latest scramblers or the earlier blue framed scramblers. The later ones that had the blue and burnt orange tanks and side covers with chrome fenders had black frames. The bikes that had blue frames had silver fenders, tanks and side covers. I believe th...

Look to your left and click on the "Literature" link in the yellow menu. The manuals and restoration books listed there are very valuable tools for your restoration.

The match is fine. Honda did not match engine and frame numbers at that time other than coincidentally. My CL77 is only one number off and that is probably considered relatively rare.
