petcock bodies from thailand
Re: petcock bodies from thailand
Ours arrived 2 days ago and I got it installed yesterday. The base matches up perfectly and the chrome seems to be high quality. Instead of using the felt piece that came with it I cut a matching one from pressed cork. I like the fact that they provide both metal washers and rubber ones for the 3 connecting bolts. I used removable thread-lock on the center piece. Today I rigged up a 2x4 support in the back yard to hold the tank straight and poured 1/2 gal. of gas in; absolutely no leaks anywhere and the lever moves smoothly to each of the 3 settings. It's wierd that the outlet nozzle points forward instead of back, but we can deal with that. Keep in mind that the shipping time is about 2 weeks or so. Very pleased.
