Carburetor issue

Post by SamuelRucker » Wed Jun 19, 2019 7:31 am

My father and I had a 305 scrambler restored recently. It ran alright after spending 15-20 getting it started. One day it wouldn't start up so we brought it to a shop. They got it running but it would burn out spark plugs after each ride around the neighborhood. We had the shop look at it again and they said that is impossible to adjust the carburetor because it has been corroded from ethenol. They suggested a replacement carburetor.

I was hoping to see if anyone else has had this issue or if anyone has any suggestions.
