hello! it's been a while since i've been here....it's been a busy few years
i decided to do some work on my `66 honda 305 dream that i have owned since 1974 and has been sitting for about 8-10 years. the fuel lines are hard as a rock and brittle and need to be replaced. i thought i'd grab some 3/16 or 1/4 rubber fuel line , but nope.....they appear to be about 9/32 on the tank crossover and 7/32 from the fuel valve to the carb....what do you guys use?
also...the fuel valve seams to move very easily and i suspect it may need rebuilding...where is the best place to get a kit?
thanks for your help.......greg

Re: CA 77 fuel line...need helpWelcome back!
The fuel line should be flexible enough to accommodate the diference between 9/32" and 1/4" if that's all you can get. Clearly Honda used metric hose but that probably hasn't made it to the USA in the 50 years since the bike was built :-) Just my little joke, sorry.......... As for a tap rebuild kit, you can try ebay or go to David Silver Spares. https://www.davidsilverspares.com/C77-D ... rt_308929/ DSS also sells genuine Honda fuel line in 1m (39 inch) lengths..... https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/tubes G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72

Re: CA 77 fuel line...need helpThe last time I needed fuel hose I went to the local lawn mower etc. repair shop. What they had was no doubt inch sized but it fit well and without measuring is indistinguishable from metric hose. I just took a carburettor with me and asked for tubing which fit. I walked out with about 1/2 m for a couple of dollars.
