Fuel Type

Post by SkykingC310 » Wed Aug 02, 2006 3:50 pm

Just curious about fuel types that can be used in the 305's. Being a pilot, I have access to avgas. Has anyone used it in their motorcycles?

If anyone is using AvGas, are you blending it with car gas or will the bike run ok with straight 100LL?

305 fuel survey

Post by Gary Bergerson » Fri Aug 04, 2006 9:33 am

I have been using premium deoxygenated gas in my two CL77's. After
reading somewhere about these engines being fully capable of running
on unleaded regular, I tryed it. There was no noticable difference,
although I did not measure gas mileage or anything else to test for
differences.
