17 inch wheels on my CB77

I am thinking about having aluminum rims installed on my CB77 and am debating with going with 17 inch rims. I do sport riding and selections for 17 inch tires are better than 18 inch. Any opinions?

You will most likely upset steering geometry and ground clearance as well as alter gearing, it's a classic bike and best used as such.
