How to make the suspension on CA77 stiffer?

Post by ericmanuel » Sat Jul 16, 2016 3:19 pm

Hey guys,
anyone have any ideas on how to make the suspension a bit stiffer on my '64 CA77. I know that the soft suspension is what makes it a DREAM to ride. Feels like you're on a cloud. Would like tomato it a little stiffer.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I stiffened my CB77 rear end by installing SL350 spring/shock units many years ago. They're a reasonably close match in size. However, given the styling of the Dream spring/shock units, all I can suggest is shimming the springs a bit or replacing them if you care about the styling.
