Location of grease fittings

Where does that idea come from?. ..................lm

I'm sure they were greased, they do need re-packed more often than once every 50 years.

It is not a idea I purchased a new CB72 in 1963 and also a new CB77 in 1964 and both of these bikes had very and I mean very little what looked like thin oil in the steering head bearings, don't get me wrong the CB72/77 were a beautifuly put together bikes but far from perfect. I would like to hear any other persons views on purchasing a new CB72/77 in the early 60's in the UK.

Not in the UK, but the Hondas (including three CB77's) that I purchased new in the U.S. in the 60's, and the ones that I worked on, certainly had lubed steering bearings. The grease was nearly clear, kind of like Vaseline. It was not an excessive amount, but it held the bearings in place just fine for assembly. Regards, Chase

Update: The two fittings that are listed/pictured under the tank not there either. Guess I just have the five.
