I Need-Top rear shock mounting bolts for 305 Scrambler

Post by Dickj » Mon Jun 04, 2012 6:59 pm

I bought new Hagon rear shocks for my CL77 305 Scrambler. My original upper mounting bolts seem to be missing or I can't recognize them. Did Honda use some kind of a shoulder bolt with acorn nut cap or was it just bolted through the frame mounts with an ordinary threaded bolt with a smooth shoulder that passes through the steel part of the upper shock bushing?

I found an exploded view in my manual but it shows the acorn nut facing outside.
Maybe that was as drawing for the "Dream". Who Knows?

Please let me know what Honda actually used to secure the tops of the rear shocks and where to find it. Many thanks.
