unfortuantely here in manila its quite hard to get parts
i hope he gets through
the bike runs well its just the second gear when i shift it
it gets stuck really hard
then theres a sound like roliing and it slips out
when i take this to the mech would you recomend me riding it?

The problem you describe makes me think you have more than one gear problem.
Things to look at are the shift fork, roller, drum, 12mm brass bushing, and a grove in the kick starter shaft.
No need for your mech. to take the top off the engine.
Put it with the head down and split the cases and go from there.
You can ride the bike by shifting to 3rd and passing 2nd. ........................lm

thanks for the great tips
i got this from a japanese builder i met on the street he was riding a velocette thruxton
he sold it to me after we became friends
thanks ill update you guys on the developments of the bike:)
