Just bought two 305 projects needing drive chains

Can anyone point me to a part #/price for the primary drive chain that I need for my Honda Dream 305 projects? I'm not certain about the year of the vintage yet but was told 1965. New to the forum and very impressed with the level of support and expertise that is displayed here.

You would be lucky to find a NOS primary drive chain. From what I have seen no one is making a new chain at this point.May get lucky on Ebay or find an old dealer that may have a dusty one still on the shelf.#23120-268-000.

Good luck on findin a NOS chain! Best bet is to find several used ones and use the one that is in best shape and shortest.

drive chain

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to concentrate on getting the engine out of the seized mode first and worry about the chain later. I expect I'll have to pull it from the frame to determine how serious it is unless there are some simple tricks I haven't discovered.
