1965 Honda ca77 installing clutch plates and friction disks. The first plate ( the thicker one) has a beveled edge goes facing in or out towards the friction plates? and when do I install the the wire clip that holds them in?

Not that it matters that HONDA installed that plate with the rounded side toward the case.
Ya can use it any way ya like as it contacts the same amount of area.
DO PUT THE WIRES IN!. ....................lm[
