clutch plate service limit

Post by Frank » Mon May 20, 2019 10:24 am

I have a 5 friction disc clutch with 1 thick and 4 thin steel plates with no wires in my 1966 cb77. I'm wanting to check my clutch disc thickness, since I'm in here. I havn't been able to find any info on this in my shop manual or in search. Can anyone tell me what that might be? Thanks So Much Tootie

Not sure the service limit for the all fiber discs. I think they were 4mm when new.
There were several clutch versions issued with differing steel and friction plate choices.
I ended up buying used metal core frictions from LM and they are still working well.
