CL 350 Starter

Post by Bookwus » Sun Jan 16, 2005 12:54 pm

Hiya All,

It had been my intention to start with a CL77, but I had this 68 CL 350 just about fall into my lap. Only 3600 actual miles. Had to do it for my first project. I hope it's OK to ask a question about a 350 in this forum..........

While I have the tools and mechanical experience, I do not have "bike experience" and so I need your opinion. The electric starter on this bike works, but sounds wheezy. Is that normal for this starter/bike? Or should it be quiet and solid (I'm thinking)?

Hiya georGe,

Wow! Thanks for the link to the 350 website. I had googled and not turned up that site. It's great! My bike looks exactly like the model the photoed for the 68 example. I've already turned some great info. I owe you a big one for that lead georGe!

Mike

1968 CL 350
