JIS screws
Does anyone have a source, or at least more information about the pre 67 screws etc. Do any of the sizes match up with the standard metric screws? The 5mm onces certainly don't. I'm thinking about purchasing a 1963 cb77, but I don't want to get something I can't get screws for. Thanks

Re: JIS screws
Joseph Tubb at icemanjat@hotmail.com has the old Japanese thread screws and I have bought some from him. The sizes affected are the 3mm, 4mm and 5mm. I'm not sure if he stocks them by Honda part number or not. I just ordered head style, diameter, length, and finish required but I got the ones I need for engine coversb breaker point screws, etc.

Re: JIS screws
As there are only a couple of the screws on the bike and they can be tapped to a standard metric thread if you need I'd never let the screws stop me. ............LM
