Clutch side cover bolt?

Post by zads » Tue Jun 25, 2019 3:47 pm

Hello,

I am putting my clutch side cover on after rebuilding the transmission and top end and there is one bolt that I cannot figure out. It holds a metal plate below the starter chain, but it is also the same hole the clutch cover uses. Did I put the metal piece in the wrong spot? Is there a special bolt that goes here?

I can't seem to upload a photo, I keep getting a message that says 'Tried to upload empty file'

Here is a link to the bolt and location that I am talking about.

Thanks in advance

The metal plate you have should be fixed into a hole about 25mm behind the on you've currently got it in.

You won't see it because it's underneath the alternator assembly.

Send me your E-mail address and I'll send you a couple of pictures of how it should be.
