Motor oil study

Post by Tim Allman » Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:31 am

I was housecleaning my hard drive and came by this study and have copied to my Google drive. I was done by AMSOIL and their oil came out on top but it does seem to be honest and contains a lot of useful information about motorcycle oils.

This is also interesting. It will make you think twice about spring washers.

My PC refuses to connect to the links for some reason, maybe phone or laptop will.

Motorcycle Consumer News did an in depth study of many motorcycle and car oils around 2003 I believe but I can't find my copy.
It measured and explained the many additives in each brand and was very informative also.

Mea culpa. The links are private by default and I forgot to change the permissions. I have now done so. Try again.
Sorry
