I made a mistake explaining the position of the module. The coils are mounted between the two post on the frame were the old coils were mounted. The module is located above the carburators. Pictures attacted. If you need more please advise.

Waggs, Good shots, where did you pick up your Dyna coils? What is the best thing about your mod?

the coils from local honda dealer. I believe they are available most any place.
confidence is the best thing I got from the mod. At this time it runs well for me. I feel I'm getting a reliable and strong fire for my ignition. I only have 150 miles with this set up. I've tried to put it through a test of stop/start, hard accel. top end speed (72mph) , idle around, in town traffic and I even left it out side over night in 27deg weather, it fired right up . The temp. around here is low to mid 40's during the days. Spring and summer may show a little differance. One last thing I have no experience with this bike before I installed the system. I bought it not running. It had been sitting many years. I have a lot to lean about the 305. I'm enjoying it with the aid of this forum. LM helped me with the parts(cables, bars and tank) necessary to make it rideable.

i recently installed the e ignition on my CB77

i made a bracket to install it in front of the battery in between the air filters

Image

i put some heat sink on the side of the e ignition unit to aid heat dissipation

Image

it fits like this

Image

it is nicely tugged in between the air filters but not enclosed so cooling will not be compromised

Take a quick look at the front of the tool box and ya can/will find a flat and angular down surface which I attach the brain to. No special parts and in the same area ya installed yours.
Just the way I do things. .............lm
