thanks for the links! ill post an update with the results soon.
the track is out in west oakland california at the train yards where they have a loop around track with no one on it that i can rip along on. its a nice place to bring her up to top gear, but every once in a while a security guard tries to chase me down, but all in good fun.
the flipper is on my list of things to do, i have to have the front end rebuilt, a new paint job and electroplating, replace all the electronic wires, and a few other odds and ends. otherwise im on my way to a near perfect bike!

This is just laughable..... IMO. Anyone even contemplating a project bike wouldn't consider a starting bid of £1900 for such a wreck, surely?
